NYP students have once again proofed themself in the World Skills Singapore 2011 which was held from 20 – 22 Jan 2011, as they topped the medal tally with 8 Gold, 7 Silver, 7 Bronze medals and 5 Medallion of Excellence awards. Team NYP had the biggest haul of total 22 medals. WSS 2011 is a biennial nation-wide skills competition for Singaporean youths to excel in technical skills. Our gold medallists in WSS would represent Singapore in the prestigious 41st World Skills Competition, which was scheduled in London, UK in October 2011.
What is worth mentioning in this competition is that SEG(M) participated in 5 of the 18 events highlighted of this WSS2011 and brought back 3 Gold, 4 Silver, 2 Bronze and 1 medallion of Excellence, making it NYP's best performer in this competition !!!!
