Pocket OneMap by NYP!

A made-in-NYP app called Pocket OneMap has won Design of the Year at the Asia Top 50 Apps ceremony!

You can have access to the map information provided by OneMap in your pocket, or more accurately, in your iPhone device!

Here are the following features of Pocket OneMap:

1. Detect current location

As with most map applications on mobile devices, Pocket OneMap is also capable of detecting your current location if you allow the system to do so. You can toggle on and off the GPS detection by switching it at the bottom left corner icon.

2. Detect direction of movement

Besides detecting your static position, if you are on the move, the app is able to show you which direction you are moving and the blue ball will follow suit.

3. Search for places

Type in the name of a place or just the postal code, you will be able to see it on the map.

4. Store identified locations as pins

Each time a location is displayed, you can touch on the blue right arrow button in the balloon pop up to save the location. To clear these pins, simply select the 'Clear Pins' tab.

5. Identify location on map

Select the 'Identify' tab first, then touch on any building on the map and the system will identify the name of the place for you.

6. Magnify

Need a closer view of the street name? Touch the screen and hold it there, the magnifying glass will enlarge the image for you.

7. Larger map extent

Cool Cool Cool!
